这首歌应该是在 Beatles 解散以后，约翰列农的创作。第一张照片拍摄于1969年，第二张照片和歌曲发行与1971年。不了解具体年代背景，越战也许结束了，也许还没有。这边还没了结，那边又打响，中东、两伊、阿富汗、南斯拉夫、伊拉克.....而人们还是一年一年地过。这歌也就慢慢变成了一首贺年曲。
